Greetings and a warm welcome to The Shivalik International School , Haldwani and to an exciting new phase in your life.
Our school is a Co-Educational English Medium Day Boarding School, catering to boys and girls. TSIS is a modern and invigorating place providing schooling programme relevant to today’s need. We have a well balanced curriculum and a rich programme combining academics , sports and cultural activities.
At TSIS students are encouraged to think independently and creatively. We value each child as an individual and our curriculum is geared towards the needs of each child. We wish to help each child to develop his or her ability to reason, to pose questions, to interpret results critically and make predictions, thus involving the child fully in the process of learning. At TSIS, a family atmosphere is generated, enabling close links to be established between children and staff.
These close links are a central factor in all the school’s activities and pastoral care. My very competent team of teachers strives to focus on each and every child, monitor and mentor them, appreciate their achievement and encourage them to overcome their shortcomings. I urge all the teachers to create appropriate, meaningful and participative learning situations, inculcating life skills in the impressionable children and appreciating their smallest efforts with all generosity and broadness of vision.
